We've worked on projects big and small

SportsOverdose

A site with thousands of sports articles, blogs, and photos for every major sports team in North America (and the EPL in England) needed a clean, simple interface to display this glut of information. Oh, and did we mention they were a new startup and needed traffic? Not only did we design a site that screamed both "comprehensive" but "easy to use", we also devised and implemented their SEO strategy. The result? 50 percent increase in traffic month over month since re-launch.

Yahoo! Movies

Yahoo! Movies was a sluggish site, weighed down by a homepage with multiple AJAX components that needed more than 50 photos to load seamlessly. We went in and optimized the landing page by spriting images, writing semantic markup, reducing lines of code, and employing lazy image loading that took the site load time from 10 seconds down to a measly 3.

Yahoo! Finance Tech Ticker

With over 1 million video streams a day, Yahoo! Finance leads the online finance video space, thanks largely in part to Tech Ticker, a video blog featuring market analysis and insider interviews. Tasked with creating a user experience that was a cross between a blog and youtube, we delivered an innovative user interface that let users scroll through blog posts, while keeping an eye on the playing video.

Crave Online

A top online destination for all things movies, music, and video games, CraveOnline needed new tools and applications to sustain its growth. We created a content management system for Crave editors to easily publish features and articles, integrated a 3rd party forum, and built reusable applications such as polls, games, and sweepstakes used throughout the site.

IMSCARED

Pop surrealism artist Greg Simkins wanted a site to showcase his vast collection of paintings, drawings, and graffiti art. We created an easy to use content management system that allowed him to upload his latest creations for the world to see and also to update his fans with news about his latest gallery showing. He was so happy with the site we built, he even gave us a painting - it's hanging up on our wall right now.

We built out an extensive database of different models, clothing, and accessories, allowing users to customize to their hearts' desire. We also built an online forum that users could chat about and share their latest creations with the community.

Adicio

A provider of 3rd party job boards, Adicio needed help streamlining their internal development process. We established a more efficient system for bug reporting, devised a standard coding library, and helped them create a wiki for all documentation and file sharing.
